Vanessa Jean Herald is lead typo grower at Make Time Farm in Southern Wisconsin, where she hosts monthly creativity retreats, writes endlessly, and makes trouble. During daylight hours she’s bound to be outside with the native prairie, removing invasive canadian thistle, or playing in the garden, but in the nighttime hours you can find her handwriting letters, making a mess, and crafting art with vintage typewriters. Her current writing practice, The Goldenrod Chronicles, is a semi-regular newsletter featuring a lot of typos and curious stories about being a human in the world.
